This month's tour takes us into the education sector. Join us for an inside look at DISD Career Institute North - serving up to 1,600 high school students daily, training them for high skills jobs like architecture, construction, dentistry, game design, aviation, robotics, among others. The facility, remastered following severe tornado damage, is a combination of a 55,000sf renovation and 110,000sf addition. The tour will be about an hour, with an optional self-pay lunch following for additional networking opportunities.
Parking is available in the parking lot around the building. All participants will need to pass through security on campus and sign in with a valid Driver's License. Comfortable shoes are encouraged due to the size of the facility.
